Here we have the cold air intake I built for the 931.  It replaces the
normal stock intake that takes up so much space in the front of the
engine bay.  I used an "Ractive" heat shield cone filter (it's basicly a
K&N cone filter in a shield) and I used aluminum pipe for the tubing.
 I have a hydrolic pipe bender, which is what I used to bend the front
pipe which takes it's air from just past the driver's side of the
radiator.  I also wanted to be a little good to the invironment, so I
drilled the front pipe and welded in a tube for the breather hose to
connect to.  I could have been a bad guy and just let it vent to the
atmosphere, which would have been much easier.  The pictures
below are from before the intake was pollished.  The last few
pictures on this page are after finishing the pollishing.
