-01/26/02-----I stripped all the sound dedening material from the floorboards and the transmission hump for the sake of saving weight. The trash can was half filled from all the material and was aproximately 60lbs. It takes a hot heat gun and a whole crap-load of elbow grease. Also notice the aluminum diamond-plate floormat I made on the passenger side, the drivers side should be done shortly.
-02/16/02-----I painted the interior with truck bed liner. This added 5 lbs (while it was wet, weighed it while in the paint tray) back to the weight, but is worth it since it improves the look of the car back to be usable. The pictures below illustrate the interior before and after painting. Also as a side note, the floormats weighed in at a whopping 3 lbs each!
